I Believe the classical civilization had a more correct view of the nature of the state. The various things that liberals act like they care so much about such as freedom, imported cheese, and beauty pageants for cats is only possible for citizens dwelling in a sufficiently powerful state...and this is only possible if the citizens view the state as an entity which expresses and projects their collective power. The state should also be at the head of the spiritual life of the citizen as well...for by serving a legitimite state you both honor the will of your ancestors and provide for future children not yet born. If Pepin, the king of the Franks, coverts to Christianity then the Franks convert also. If clothaire II decides to become monogamous, then the Franks do too.
But in that era is was possible to say that by serving the king, you also served the Franks. The interests and the will to power were one and the same.
In the modern era, can you serve the american people by serving the state? I would say of course not ..you could only serve Jewish donors and lobbies by serving the modern usa. Therefore this is not a legitimite state and the american people should consider themselves stateless. We are simply bullied by a criminal cartel which extracts money from us and demands that we never say an unkind word about *** or ***.
What the people need is a great leader. A Caesar who can restore the functionality of the state. Somehow who, unlike Biden, will remember his own name in 5 years.
